Rock Under Fire

Nov 6, 2016

In Episode 11, we dissect and discuss a recent article by Chuck Klosterman  speculating on how the history of rock and roll will be viewed and taught 300 years from today, and if there is one artist to exemplify the rock and roll era, who it will be.  We also further our ongoing discussion on the show's underlying theme and question:  Is rock dead?

In addition, we are sure to raise a few eyebrows as we open up a new exploration into a question that hasn't really been asked yet:  Did grunge really have the impact that we think it did?  What is the real long term influence and legacy of Nirvana and Pearl Jam?  And did they help rock music or end up hurting it?
